THAT TIME WE PUT ON A FAKE WEDDING…

Cue the Pinterest boards, floral arrangements, talent search and phone calls to your fave dress designers. The Inka team recently styled a dream wedding for #inkabrand Hyatt Place Melbourne, organising and directing the day down to the finest details. The results were some pretty incredible images and an amazing wedding video to match, which you can check out below. Brace yourself for the ooos and ahhs and #seriousweddinginspo.

Hyatt Place Melbourne’s event space is a hidden gem in the west located literally steps away from Essendon airport and minutes from Melbourne Tullamarine airport. The beautiful space covers a massive 1700 squares (that can be sub-divided for more intimate occasions), so we decided to go big and bold for the shoot.

We staged our ‘I do’s’ in the incredible Three Oak Pavilion at Hyatt Place, an elegant space surrounded by a beautiful green garden. Every shot was planned, from the morning champagne breakfast, right through to the bride and groom being whisked away to their honeymoon via helicopter (yes, we said helicopter).

We brought together a group of amazing brands that we were so excited to collaborate with. Calibre provided the incredible suits for the men, whilst Raffaele Ciuca lent us the stunning bridal gown. Décor It created beautiful floral arrangements and table decorations and The White Tree provided us with images that could fill 1000 #weddinginspo Pinterest boards.  

So why a styled shoot? A picture is worth a thousand words and can make all the difference in positioning your brand. Photoshoots are about bringing the right people together, styling and giving creative direction to guarantee beautiful photos which showcase your brand. For Hyatt Place Melbourne we wanted to show off their amazing space and the versatility that the Events Centre, hotel and its surrounding facilities offer.  

On the day it was so rewarding to have everyone on site and have our collective vision come to life after weeks of planning. The photos we received were an absolute manifestation of the work that everybody put in. The culmination of this effort can be seen in the breathtaking video that Robot Army shot for us. They transformed a whole day’s worth of styling, directions, organising, shooting and filming into a 1 minute video of our bride and groom’s journey. The video truly showcases just how perfect Hyatt Place Melbourne is as a wedding venue and the incredible results you can achieve from photography and video for your brand.
