The Elements Coastal Activity Park is in a class of its own with an 18-hole mini-golf course that sits pretty right next to the sparkling sea, saluting mother nature like you’ve never experienced before. The Coastal Activity Park is the latest addition to the new seaside suburb, Wyndham Harbour, and it serves as a wonderful place to spend a day with friends or fam. With an abundance of activities on offer, The Elements is the perfect day-trip destination. This new adventure oasis offers pleasure-seekers a break from the hustle and bustle of city life, only 30 minutes away from Melbourne - with Mini Golf, a Coffee Corner, beautiful coastal walks and a Picnic Lawn.

Their goals?

  • Develop a memorable brand from scratch that effectively communicates all that they do, to attract an audience full of adventurers, families, social butterflies, activity seekers and the local community

  • Create a mini golf experience unlike any other on the market - set right on the sea with a focus on natural elements, with minimal intervention on the landscape

  • Create a place that appeals to all ages 

  • Help shape Wyndham Harbour as the outdoor entertainment destination for the West 

  • Attract new visitors to the region, showcasing a unique and rarely experienced side of Melbourne 

  • Build a community around the marina and harbour experience, making it an inclusive place for a wider audience to enjoy 

  • To provide a place for youth, social and work groups to build connections through activities, and experience the outdoor environment through mini golf and sailing 

  • Generate a buzz and build a connection with the location community, by bringing suppliers, producers, residents and visitors together for shared experiences 

  • Create a well-thought-out hospitality offering

  • Have an offering so strong, that visitors will drive 90 mins + to visit for the day, in all seasons and times of year

Enter Inka

The Wyndham Harbour team came to Inka with a dream, a  dream to bring the activity park to life. With all of the ideas in place, we were ready to go full steam ahead and turn The Elements into a fully-fledged brand. We helped The Elements tell their brand story, by creating a brand that had its own unique personality (think epic design, amazing imagery and golfing puns a plenty), and here’s what our work involved:

The result? 

For The Elements, it was all about bringing their brand to life, quite literally! As they were constructing structures, landscaping the environment and building the mini golf course,  we were constructing all the delicious personality that was to be a driver for people’s attention and admiration…we’re talking colourful pattern design, cute directional signage, photos jam-packed with personality and a whole lot more.

Our Brand Architecture (which is a strategy around who the brand is and what it offers) laid out the foundations for us to execute the whole brand rollout for The Elements - from the name to the style of the photography, through to the words and user experience on the website. What this resulted in was a fun and playful brand story that’s already been hugely successful in enchanting punters.

Being able to get stuck into every aspect of this project is really what’s made it so successful. And, The Elements has now securely positioned itself as an extremely unique day-trip destination that promises fun for adventure seekers and families alike.
