You know those mouth watering brands that seem to always get the balance juuuuust right?

They're perfectly juicy and rich and full of all of the right flavours. They're the kind of brands that don't just look good, but sound good and feel good. They're ones that leave an unforgettable taste in your mouth.

At Inka, we call them memorable brands and we’re all about taking great businesses and turning them into, yep...you guessed it, memorable brands.

But other than juicy deliciousness, what actually is a memorable brand and how do you create one?

Well let’s start off with our Inka definition of a memorable brand.

MƐM(Ə)RƏB(Ə)L /BRAND/
NOUN

  1. A brand that is worth remembering or easily remembered, especially because of being special.

  2. A set of beliefs, memories, stories and relationships (a brand) that will become a part of your audience’s life, irreplaceable, unshakeable and unforgettable.

Alright, so now you know what a memorable brand is, let’s dive into the how.

The three key elements to cooking up a deliciously good brand are to...

  1. Know your audience - Who is your audience? Get to know who they are, live in their skin, understand them to their core so you can truly build a relationship with them and fulfil their needs.

  2. Know yourself - Who are you? What do you stand for? What do you have to offer and what sets you apart? Get clear on your essence and uniqueness and the value you can provide to your audience.

  3. Be consistent - Just like any relationship, humans crave consistency. Consistency makes you feel familiar, trustworthy and dependable and if you are consistently showing up as yourself, you are going to attract and maintain connections with your ideal customer - your people - and they will love you and want to keep engaging with you (ie, buying what you’re selling).

And voilà! There you have it.

Three key ingredients to creating your own memorable brand.
